Biketown Maps

Maps, maps, maps. You will find maps for several of our favorite road circuit rides in and around Devon.  These rides are the most common for our local riders and easily accessible by our visitors.  We are working on outlining more of our in Town and River valley circuits as we speak.  There are just so many we can’t keep up with mapping.  In the meantime you can download the general map we have created which indicates the paved trail system and commonly used and maintained river valley system.

Keep checking as we will be posting new routes and circuits as soon as they are ready.  If you have a favorite ride in, around or out to Devon, please name it and send it to us so we can add it to our inventory.

This loop takes you through the beautiful river valley trails which run along side the North Saskatchewan River. Test your hill climbing and balanced positions on the hills, and take time to rest during the flat areas. It is moderate to challenging...but experienced youth riders can do it. There is lots of opportunity to take breaks and enjoy the peacefulness of the valley. Enjoy the ride!

MS Training Ride Circuit

MS Training Ride Circuit

Distance: 21.4 km
Rating: Moderate

This route takes the rider past a few of our area attractions. Bring a picnic and bring your wallet because you just might want to get off your bike and check them out. Don't let life pass you by, be sure to stop and smell the flowers at the Devonian Botanic Garden. Who knew Alberta gardens could be so beautiful? Mine certainly isn't. When you are ready to continue work your way to Clifford E. Lee Nature Sanctuary. This is another great place to stop, do a little exploring and enjoy a picnic. Both attractions have washrooms....if needed. The route is relatively flat with a few small rolling hills and of course the one big one...the Devon hill.

National Time Trial Circuit

National Time Trial Circuit

Distance: 19.2 x2 = 38.4 km
Rating: Moderate

The route was enjoyed and respected by Canada's best during the 2010 National Road Cycling Championships. Sven Tuft and Tara Whiten raced here, now you can too. Why not race the clock and compete in your own personal individual time trial? Not into racing the clock, don't sweat it, its a great ride and has a challenging valley to practice your hill climbs on.
